On Friday, July 2nd, 2026, the Yellowstone County Courthouse has been temporarily closed following a burst water line that caused damage within the building. At this time, crews will begin evaluating the extent of the damage and working to restore the facility as quickly and safely as possible.

Additionally, the Yellowstone County Board of County Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Monday, July 6th at 8:00 a.m. at 2825 3rd Ave N. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss the current condition of the facility and review the logistics of office space.
