    Full-time position which performs routine supervisory work in the safekeeping of prisoners in custody at the Yellowstone County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility. Protects the well being of prisoners, overseeing them at meals, at activities and in their quarters; does related work as required. The Detention Officer is a uniformed civilian staff position which performs responsible law enforcement work involving a variety of duties to control and supervise the activities of persons incarcerated in the County’s Detention Facility. Because work is performed in close proximity with persons charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses, the work involves an element of personal danger.     Full-time position which assists Box Office Manager with coordination of all box office activities including cash handling, accounts management, fiscal reporting and computer systems management. Trains, plans, organizes, schedules and supervises cashier staff in the areas of customer service, box office, and retail outlet ticket sales. Coordinates all novelty sales and related records.     The Head Cashier performs a variety of high level organizational and office support functions work involving responsibility for calculating and receiving payments for a variety of taxes and fees, along with balancing the internet banking transactions. An employee in this class requires an in depth knowledge and understanding of spreadsheets and formulas within the spreadsheets. An employee in this class is located in an environment associated with payments and collections and must comply with legal requirements, frequent public contact and high volume production. The Head Cashier may greet and direct visitors to appropriate areas or staff and operate a central telephone console or multi-line system to receive and route calls.   • Temporary, Part-time Box Office Workers - MetraPark
    Temporary, part-time worker that provides quick, friendly, and accurate guest service. Requires a flexible work schedule, as hours will be event driven; Work hours may include some evening/night, weekend or holiday shifts; Function as a member of a team to achieve the goals and standards of the Box Office. Box Office employees must have cash/credit card handling experience. Must be bondable.

  • Youth Services Center Fill-In
    The fill in worker covers shifts for regular employees who are absent due to illness or vacation, or when additional staff members are required due to increased census. This is an entry level position that can offer the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a youth care facility. Students and applicants searching for a second job are encouraged to apply.

    Hours vary due to the needs of the facility for coverage. Available shifts are days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Scheduling flexibility and availability may increase the number of scheduled shifts.

    Must pass a criminal background check and have a current driver's license. Bachelor's degree in human services or some college preferred. Some human services experience is required.
