The Mission of the Yellowstone County Weed Department is to assist the public, private, and other government agencies to manage and control existing noxious weed infestations as well as to prevent new invasive species from infesting Yellowstone County.

Important Information	This plant produces small greenish brown pinecone look-a-likes called turions. It forms dense mats in the water and appears reddish-brown in the water, but is actually green when pulled out of the water.
