REGULAR MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Tuesday December 9, 2025

            ALL PRESENT:  Commissioner Morse, Chair; Commissioners Waters and White; Board Clerk Teri Reitz; Clerk and Recorder Jeff Martin.

MINUTES – November 25, 2025, and December 2, 2025.  Commissioner Waters made a MOTION to approve the Minutes, Commissioner White seconded.  Passed Unanimous. 

9:00 a.m. SWEARING IN HOUSE REPRESENTATIVE, DISTRICT 52 – Swearing in of HD52 Representative – Stacy Zinn. 

PUBLIC COMMENTS ON REGULAR, CONSENT AND FILED AGENDA ITEMS – Hearing no comments Commissioner Morse continued the Board Meeting.

METRAPARK – Update – Facilities.  Billie Chase – Facilities Director stated that Chase Hawks is next week.  Mr. Chase also noted that they got new snow blades for the loader and the bobcat.  Mr. Chase stated that cleaning will be handled inhouse now.  Gates are being installed for the upper parking lot to control who is coming in and out of the lot.  The fall auction that was held brought in $28,000.

PLANNING DEPARTMENT – Moyer Subdivision – Preliminary Minor Plat.  Mr. Dave Green, Planner stated that the subject property is generally located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Tipperarie Trail and Popelka Road.  This parcel of land is outside County zoning.  The land is currently used for farming purposes.  There are no homes on any of the land.  Mr. Green went through the proposed conditions.  Commissioner Waters made a MOTION to conditionally approve Moyer Subdivision – Preliminary Minor Plat with the S.I.A. and the Findings of Fact, Commissioner White seconded.  Passed Unanimous. 

CLAIMS – Batches 26-072 and 26-073.  Commissioner White made a MOTION to approve the Claims, Commissioner Waters seconded.  Passed Unanimous.
