Commissioner Waters made a MOTION to refer Item 5C to the legal department for review, Commissioner Morse seconded. Passed Unanimous.
11:00 a.m. ZONE CHANGE PUBLIC HEARING Land Use to Zoning Yellowstone County (County) proposed to operate the new County junk vehicle lot on a 9.1-acre parcel of land currently zone P2 Public, Civic, and Institutions and is generally located at 3246 King Avenue E. The Yellowstone County Zoning Regulations do not allow this use in the P2 Public, Civic, and Institutions zone district. (YC Section 27-1002) Uses and Use Table) Tax ID: D01861. (1) Whenever an agency proposed to use public land contrary to local zoning regulations, a public hearing must be held, and the agency shall attend the public hearing. (2) The local governing body shall hold a hearing within 30 days of the date the agency gives notice to the local governing body of its intent to develop land contrary to local zoning regulations. Commissioner Morse opened the Public Hearing. Hearing no comments Commissioner Morse closed the Public Hearing. No action is required.

Resolution No. 25-78 of Intent to Dissolve RSID 783 Homestead Water Line and Setting a Public Hearing for Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. in Room 3108. Commissioner Waters made a MOTION to approve Resolution 25-78, Commissioner Morse seconded. Passed Unanimous.
